Embedded Software Tester

Our Calgary based client is a leading international high tech company.

Responsibilities:
- perform Product verification development activities as per project plan
- development and updates of Test Procedure specifications
- independent execution of the Test procedures
- join a team responsible for bringing the network revolution to the real - time embedded devices of the power utility industry.
- be a high productivity tester with experience delivering high - quality products on time and on budget.
- provide test results to the project manager.

Qualifications:

-University degree in computer science or electrical engineering
- At least 5 years professional experience in real - time embedded softwrae development
- Familiar with UCA/IEC61850 Protocol standards
- D25/D200 embedded hardware platform
- General functions of the Data Processing Application running on D2xplatform
- Familiar with Tamarack IEC61850 MMS library and associated test tools
- Familiar with the functions of the 3rd party SISCO MMS Explorer test clients.
- Knowledge of SCADA concepts is a strong asset.
